Meet the Lion Camp Team

Our team is small and remains relatively unchanged every year. During your stay you will likely get to know the following key staff :

Sam Grace has been the General Manager since 2003 and is also the head guide. Emma Robinson handles Reservations & Marketing.

The guiding team consists of Hendrix Chipulu, Paul Ngoma, Oscar Mwanza and Basiwell Ngandu.

Criston Mpase is the Zambian Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) scout who is stationed at Lion Camp. With over 20 years experience, he has been our scout since 2007.

Louise Arseneault is joining us in 2011 to take care of guest relations.

Lion Camp is also a supporter of the Chipembele Wildlife Education Centre. Cofounded by Anna & Steve Tolan, it opened in 2001. The aim of the centre is to educate children living in the local community about the value, wonder and rarity of South Luangwa’s wildlife. Also to demonstrate the unique benefits that it brings to the local community
