Congratulations Hendrix

Hendrix Chipulu is the first of our 'home grown' guides to pass his Driving (Grade 2) Luangwa Guides Examination. He achieved excellent results in a theory paper, bush ID section and practical examination in order to qualify.

He is champing at the bit to get out in the bush and start guiding so he can put his knowledge to use.

Hendrix started at Lion Camp as a truck driver, doing our supply / firewood trips. He showed an interest in wildlife, and so entered our guide training program in 2007.

We believe that a big part of Lion Camps success comes from it's people, and we will continue to invest in individuals such as Hendrix who want to improve themselves. We wish him a long and happy career as a Lion Camp guide, and believe with his natural passion for the bush he will go far.
